Wow, huge difference between that interview and the one with Kristen from E.
Either David hates that guy, or he's all about the ladies :)
I think...
1) He definitely loves the ladies. The man knows what he looks like and knows how to play women well.
2) He responds beautifully to the moment. Kristen took a light playful tone and he did the same. Matt took a serious tone and David responded in kind.
and...
David has a bit of a rep as one who can be 'grumpy' at times. If he didn't like him, he probably wouldn't talk to him. =)
I agree Wendy, and for what it's worth, I'm on David's side (but of course).
He obviously knows Kristen and gets on with her, so their interview was more of a chat between friends. That Matt guy ... well, he sounds like a bit of an idiot. I hate it when you see interviewers and can tell that they don't really get or care what they're talking about. David probably sensed that too.
Just goes to show how important good interviewers are .. you can have two interviews about the same topics, at the same event, and very different results.
(of course, it could just be that this was the 10th interview David had done by then, and he was just bored!)
