Strike News

Thursday came and went with SAG offering a counter proposal to the AMPTP's 'final offer' which has a deadline of August 15th. AMPTP promptly tagged this counter offer as a rejection and it has been roundly blasted by media companies.

Next date to watch: July 24th, when SAG's national board will meet. For now, SAG actors that are working are working without a contract and simply operating under the conditions of the previous deal.

Don't bite your nails to complete nubbins yet.

I don't even pretend to know what all is going on, but I hope that SAG will eventually accept the offer so I can quit biting my nails at the prospect of another 's' word.
