Bones Season 3 on Amazon

Incase you missed the squealing, the Bones Season 3 DVD set is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $41.99. And it looks like fans are already hurrying over there to put in their names. The DVD set currently ranks #4 on the Bestsellers in Movie and TV and #24 on the Most Wished For.

Are you pre-ordering? Or are you going to buzz into Best Buy or another local store on release date?

I'll just be stopping by a store on release day to get it. I had a bad experience with preordering a TV set from Amazon a few years ago. I preordered and then when the set actually came out, they said it was on backorder, and it'd be 6-8 weeks before they shipped it to me!! I cancelled that order, went to the store to buy what I wanted, and I never preordered DVDs again.

I'm so glad Bones is selling so well so quickly, though! That's great news!

I can't decide if I want to pre-order or take my chances going to a store. With it being so popular on Amazon, I wonder if it will end up on backorder. On the other hand, I'm afraid my local Best Buy and Circuit City won't have them in stock right away. I must have it the day it comes out. I'm all about instant gratification. What is a girl to do?

I preordered. I'm not terrified that it'll be out of stock. My bigger concern is that the first two seasons combined can be had for the same price as the shortened third season. :(

Yes, now they can. But that wasn't the case a few months ago when I bought mine!

Yeah, Bones on Amazon kinda goes up and down in prices. Sometimes season one and two are 20-something each and sometimes they're 40-something each.

Season Three is shortened, but with the extended episodes they're including plus the few from season four that are going to be on there, there's almost enough episodes to equal a full season, so the regular price doesn't really bother me.
