More from Hart Hanson's Recent Q&A

Blogcritics has posted their own take on the recent Hart Hanson Q&A. They touch on the spoiler Lynn mentioned, and the Jared stuff TVGuide mentioned, but add plenty more of their own gossip.

Turning to a question about the rotating Zack replacements in the lab, Hanson said the storyline was intended to help develop the lab-based B story in the episodes, and he sees it as so successful, the writers now intend to keep the interns for a while, instead of replacing Zack quickly. And that may not be a bad thing for Zack fans, as Hanson confirmed there is more yet to come about that character.

With psychiatrist Sweets knowing that there is more to Zack’s story, he faces a dilemma on how to proceed. Hanson said he has been looking into bringing back Gordon Gordon (English actor Stephen Fry) as the person to help Sweets sort things out, though Fry’s availability has not been confirmed.

Check out the full article here.

I'm excited about the Stephen Fry (possible) return, but do wonder about his availability. If you follow him at all, it's clear he's tied up for quite some time as he travels the world filming a series on endangered species, most recently in Africa.

Thank you, Jeannie, for the link.

There is a full transcript of the Hart Hanson interview posted in the Spoiler Section at the Boneyard OS. It is interesting to read the various spins by the media of one interview, particulary the TVGuide report, that added/implied stuff that Hart never said.

You can read the post here

I have sent a message over the board to the author of the post, asking for permission to re-post it here. I'm not swiping all that work without permission and credit. Hopefully I'll have it posted here soon :)

Oh, HH admitted to reading Searching Bones. Hart, are you reading this, too? I need to start posting more often. ;-)

I think keeping the rotating interns may also help the show's budget, because if they bring in a new permanent staff member, they add a new regular member to the cast. And if the slot reverts to one for a grad student instead of a full staff position, perhaps for Jeffersonian bureaucratic reasons, then the writers never need to stick with one character for long. When they have a grad student, they can bring in someone to be goofy and make mistakes, which the audience wouldn't really tolerate in a new permanent staff member.

I don't care about the Hodgins-Angela-Roxie thing, and I don't care about the substance of the spoiler Lynn mentioned as long as it stays theoretical, but I am looking forward to the treatment of the Zack character arc. It was pretty much a creative disaster last season and badly needs fixing, so I'm glad to hear more is definitely on the way. I hope they have signed Millegan for a specific number of episodes, that they know where they're going with it, and that it really makes sense. I like the idea of Sweets having something of substance to wrestle with, rather than how to hang out with the cool kids, and I like the idea of his consulting with Gordon Gordon. A psychologist colleague is the only person he could ethically discuss his dilemma with, and Gordon is a pretty canny guy. If they succeed in getting Fry, this could be very good.

It'd be great to have Gordon-Gordon back. I miss him. He might even be able to bring B&B a little closer too. The interaction between him and Sweets would be interesting.

It would be great to have Stephen Fry back, but I can't see it happening. Hart only said he was 'looking into his availability'.

As Wendy said, SF seems to always be ridiculously busy, and I know he's mentioned before that he wouldn't want to live in America and work the long hours like Hugh Laurie does. Still, maybe he can make it for one ep!
