Next Episode: The Skull in the Sculpture

Fox has released episode stills for "The Skull in the Sculpture", which answers pretty well which episode we'll see next (and thus continues the annoying "out of order" issue with the season).

But, it still looks like it will be a fun one, I'm sure. Close your eyes if you don't want to know the grad student situation, or see Angela with a certain someone....

That's not the one with Max, right?

No, it's not. Hopefully "The Bone that Blew" will be the following week.

Return of the Cocky belt! :D

I wonder who the geisha is and why Booth is looking at her like that... o.O

Thanks as always Wendy!

Well, hello Miss Wick. I really thought the girl was gone for good. No such luck

Ah no! Daisy's going to annoy the hell out of me once again! Looks like an intersting eppy though, and is it me or has Booth had a haircut? It looks a bit shorter.

Freaking cool! I was just hoping that we'd get some spoiler pictures out soon!!!

Oh I like Daisy! :D She and Sweets will be so frickin' cute together!!!

Shep, that's exactly what I thought Re: DB's hair. It almost looks military style.

This is kinda random but it just occurred to me today after seeing these pics... HH apparently likes to re-use character's names in the series. Angela's ex is named Roxy and Brennan pretended to be Roxie in "Woman in the Sand." There was baby Andy in "Baby in the Bough" and the FBI Agent in Brennan's books is named Andy. There's Caroline Julian and the late Caroline Epps. I'm curious if these are names of people HH actually knows or it's just a weird coincidence. Or maybe I'm just weird for noticing! :D

Cupcakebean - you're not weird, I noticed that too. Or maybe we're both weird! But I think normal is overrated.

I'm a bit miffed at Db's haircut - I like it longer and spikier.

I think David looks hot, he has great hair, perhaps he is tired of the longer spikier look, it is just two photos. Remember this episode was shot back in early Sep and we have had the extremely hot pics of David at the Emmys and the Phillies video since then, his hair looks longer again now. :)

I noticed the name thing a few times (like with Roxie and Andy) but otherwise, it doesn't bother me because it's realistic. As for the Roxie thing, I think Booth & Brennan undercover in Vegas is one of those things that means a lot and is absolutely unforgettable to the fans but not so much to the writers. They probably didn't even realize they were reusing the name. Plus, you know, it's a team of writers writing these scripts. Hart doesn't write them all.

I'm not sure how I feel about Daisy being back. I wasn't particularly fond of her last time, but she and Sweets together might be interesting. And she did provide us with that great Brennan line about not wanting to learn her name until she's proven herself competent, lol.

I was just wondering about the name thing because Chris Carter used to reference people he knew in The X-Files, as well as his and his wife's birthdays. I wondered if Hart was doing the same thing.

I don't understand why they're airing these eps out of order. Didn't Daisy get fired? And Clark quit, but I heard he might be back too. The Written vs. Aired order thing didn't bother me much before, but they are apparently ignoring continuity altogether. And we can't blame the writers for this one!

I know for sure one character is named after a real person. Maybe that should be tomorrow's question? :)

Yeah, I don't understand why they made it a point to fire these interns just to bring them back later, but the aired vs. filmed order isn't that screwed up. The first one with Daisy was shot back in May, and this one was filmed recently. The casting announcement for Angela's girlfriend was only a month or so ago, so we know it's not that old. I hope the writers will tell us why these fired grad students are suddenly back in the lab because I think Daisy did get fired.

Actually I find the repeating interns to be quite realistic. 'Cause although shows like CSI and Bones are making forensics more appealing, this particular field is not exactly teeming with new people -not like say, engineering in the 90s. So it's believable that they would have to "recycle" grad students until they settle for one.

If they give us another reason, though, it better be a good one.

Ok, so thinking about it, I would like to see Sweets and Daisy together, especially if they did go out after Outhouse. I'd Love to see Booth picking up on whatever happened and giving Sweets hell about it.

Shep said...

That's the one thing I did like about Daisy - the hint of her and Sweets. And yeah, I can see Booth annoying Sweets about it.

Concerning the recycling of grad students, the continuity depends on whether the characters act like they haven't been fired or instead indicate that they have been called on to return because of a grad stdent shortage. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

I just realised, in that last pic, Angela and Roxie both have their hands placed over their hearts like the painting behind them.

Nice catch, Shep!

Interesting imagery.
