Chatting with David Boreanaz on-set

A smitten TV journalist in Britain, who'd never seen anything David Boreanaz has starred in, met him on location in London. She writes about it on her blog here. Best part? She's now working her way through Bones!

"On a scorching hot day at a filming location in East London, David, dressed in his slick Booth suit and iconic Cocky belt buckle, said he was loving working in London and happily chatted about taking his six-year-old son Jaden on the Millennium Eye and on a boat cruise down the Thames."

"They filmed in Greenwich, the Guildhall and many other touristy locations. David said he also got to drive a mini and meet some Bobbies. I can’t wait to see Bones British-style."

Bones Ratings: Mummy Rerun in 2nd place

TVbythenumbers is reporting the overnight ratings for Monday June 30th and it appears the rerun of "Mummy in the Maze" came in second. Though even that site won't officially say who the winners are because they only have 1/2 hour data instead of true show rankings. Either way, Bones and House together brought Fox to a viewership win for the night and a close 2nd in the all important 18-49 demo.

Angel & Spike

EW.com released a list of beloved pop-culture immortals today. David Boreanaz's Angel, along with James Marster's Spike are top the list together.

If you've never tried Angel, summer hiatus is a good time. My husband and I are currently going through both Angel and Buffy for the first time and loving them.

Emmy Nomination Finalists: Supporting Actors in a Drama

Looks like Eric Millegan and T.J. Thyne aren't making the cut this year, sadly. BuddyTV has the shortlist of finalists for the nominations and neither are on it. I'm still holding out hope for David Boreanaz and/or Emily Deschanel to get nods. Full article, along with comedy actress leads, here.

Bones-tastic Time Killers

July and August could be very dead months for Bones news. We'll have Comic-Con, hopefully, and Lindsey and I will still do our podcasts and I'll be doing old episode reviews as fast as I can but I thought I'd also try to post other ways you can keep a little Bones in your day.

To start with, here are a few fan videos that come highly recommended from CupcakeBean. Enjoy!
