The Finger in the Nest: Live Thoughts

Weekly deal. I can't be at the computer and the TV at the same time. But, that shouldn't stop the rest of you from sharing your thoughts! Post away, all your thoughts about "The Finger in the Nest", as it airs.

And don't forget about the Reasons to Love Bones. Hopefully we'll have plenty to add from this episode!

Emily Deschanel: Somaly Mam Event

Emily Deschanel has been busy lately with charities! Last night, September 16th, she appeared at the event "An Evening of New Dreams with Somaly Mam." The goal of the Somaly Mam Foundation is to end human trafficking around the world.

The woman's skin is amazing!

Rumors come, rumors go: David Boreanaz as Green Lantern

Recently, I told you about the rumor going around that David Boreanaz was up for the role of the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, in an upcoming live action flick. David has voiced the character before, but the live action project is something new.

This article discusses this review of the project script (language warning) that debunks that rumor. The reason?

Age.

Hal Jordan, in the script, is in his late 20s, and David Boreanaz is 10 years older. It's admitted that David's likeness was used for the art, but that's it.

Seems to be a dead end for David on this one!

It's Bonesday!!

This totally slipped my mind this morning!

Tonight's episode is "The Finger in the Nest" and I am really looking forward to it. If you want some spoiler teasing and missed it, check out this rundown of pictures, videos, and the episode description.

How about this Bonesday be an homage to "Everything I need to know I learned from Bones...."

An example of this (from Jeannie) would be "You don't upset your partner for an hour of fun."

TV Guide Interviews Emily Deschanel

TV Guide has posted a great Q&A with Emily Deschanel. She mentions Zack - his 'replacements' and how often she thinks we might see him again - as well as what celebrity's death she'd like to investigate and her thoughts on the Brennan/Booth relationship (see below).

Check out the full Q&A here.

TV Guide: Your character, forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan, and FBI agent Seeley Booth [David Boreanaz] finally kissed last season. So fans want to know: Are they ever going to get past first base?
Emily Deschanel:
We haven’t shot any [love scenes] yet, but they have to take it somewhere, don’t they? I know the chase can sometimes be more fun than the catch, but c’mon already! They have a great friendship. They’ve been in so many scary situations and saved each other’s lives—who needs sex when you’re solving crimes? I think when they do get together, it’s going to be so much sweeter. And serious.
