Bones Promo for January Return

I was sad to see that this Bones promo consists entirely of old footage as it promotes the January return, and the new Thursday time slot. We need some new stuff to get us by until January.

Speaking of which, I will be posting a couple of "Spoiler Discussion Threads" for each of the upcoming episodes, similar to the "Live Thoughts" threads where you can discuss any level of spoilers you want, without spoiling anyone. They won't contain any links to information unless someone asks, and then they will appear in the comments. Stay away from those posts if you want to be unspoiled!

Ratings News - Multiple Episodes

I apologize for putting this all in one post, but hey - family and stuff are calling on me soon!

TVbythenumbers, where I love to get the ratings news, took Thursday off for Thanksgiving, but we do have some 1/2 hour data to see that this week's Bones episode, "The Bone that Blew," did dip about a million, probably due to the holiday, but still won the hour and the demos.

Magazine Bones Mentions

Thanksgiving week - with some unfortunate work - has made for some busy times for me lately. But all of that is winding down now (with only 2 more dinners to go!) so I thought I'd catch up on a little Bones news!

Nini sent me this earlier in the week. Thanks!

TV Guide Weeks Nov 24 - Dec 7
Countdown by Damian Holbrook: "Whether it's a catchy song or creative visuals, these opening credit keeps us tuned in and turned on!"

#10: BONES: We're not sure what we dig more -- Crystal Method's techno theme or the sped-up flashes of cast members as they pore over decomposed skeletons and other lab trappings. The only definite is that you walk away knowing exactly what the show's about and that it's cool as hell.

(you already have the Emily scan that is in this issue)

Entertainment Weekly Nov 28 Issue
There's a whole page focused on Sweets. I couldn't scan it in (no scanner) but I tried taking a picture of it and I attached it here. It's pretty cool though. They have Sweets profile some TV characters.

The intro reads:

Bones' Shrink Raps TV
Now a full-time fixture on Bones, psychologist Dr. Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley, left) helps Booth, Brennan, and the Jeffersonian team work through their considerable issues. We asked him -- with assists from creator Hart Hanson and executive producer Stephen Nathan -- to analyze some of TV's other notable head cases. -- As diagnosed to Whitney Pastorek.
