Bones Ratings: The Hero in the Hold

Is Bones regaining ground on it's former Wednesday glory? Or did the Herohype work? Either way, Bones ratings got a nice boost this week, with "The Hero in the Hold."

I love that the ratings are up. Now I just wish that Fox would show new episodes EVERY week instead of every other. It seriously kills me!

I have to say, Fox's promos for "Hero in the Hold" were nothing short of amazing. I thought there was no way the actual episode would be action-packed as the promo made it look, but it was, so kudos to Fox for a good advertising campaign.

I love that ratings are up, too. Especially during a season when almost everything on TV is losing viewers. That's great news for our show!

Wendy, I just wanted to say congrats on how many readers you have! Your clustrmap is hilarious. You can barely see the land anymore! Awesome! =)

I hope the show continues to do well on Thursdays, this is a perfect opportunity for us to support it more so that it can remain here in this time slot permanently, no more moving around.

It got a boost from the Hero hype. Also, the ratings seem to reflect that people who have stopped watching Bones, tuned in to this episode because it was the conclusion of the Gravedigger storyline. They probably thought it was going to be as amazing as AiaS. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.

YAAAAY for increased ratings... well done to the show and here's hoping it keeps the numbers!

at least after this next week the show has a weekly running for quite some time afterwars, then fingers crossed the numbers steadily rise over that time!

Way to go Bones! So, in all honesty how many more seasons do you think Bones has left - given that Bones and Booth are most likely going to get together? P.S. Just watched Two Bodies in the Lab on TNT and those of you who loved Hero in the Hold should totally rewatch this!!!!

Emily (at least) is contracted for 7 years, and I can honestly see the show running for that long. The fact that the show's main couple gets together romantically doesn't have to mean the show is over. Especially with these two characters, who could probably just find a whole new set of things to bicker about once they get involved romantically.

Excellent winning the timeslot, but jeez, these are low numbers. Cable numbers! Remember when shows would pull in double digits and into the 20s?
