For Fans of Angel: Sad News

I try to stay within pretty strong confines here of talking about Bones, and nothing else. But sometimes, you have to make an exception.

For anyone who is/was a fan of David Boreanaz's other big series, Angel, you might be saddened to know (like me) that Andy Hallet, who played Lorne in a great deal of the episodes, has died from heart failure at the young age of 33. Terribly sad and he will be missed.

thanks for posting it...I was going to let you know but it slipped my mind.

re: heart failure at 33...it happens...my sister was 33 when she passed away 22 yrs ago from heart problems...Andy was a true joy to watch and will be missed terribly by many.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Hallet...may you bring joy to the faces of the other angels you will now be calling friends.

It's not fair! He was too young. I have tears in my eyes now.

Lorne was one of my favourite characters - always made me smile!

Rest in Peace Andy. You were fantastic and will be missed greatly.

I came over as soon as I saw the news...I really liked that guy. He was funny, and he added sooo much to the layers of Angel.

33. Jesus, he was just a baby...so much more to do in his life. It's just sooo not fair.

He had heart disease and had been fighting it for 5 years before it took him.

I was so sad when I read this yesterday. He was so young and so talented.

It makes my soul ache.

That is sad, so young. Angel was the best show, and his character added so much. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

You know, I avoided Angel for years because of the "green" guy in the commercials--it just seemed kind of silly to me at the time. I finally discovered Angel (which led me to Bones by the way) on TNT and I loved the show (so much more than Buffy) and Lorne was a delightful addition to every episode he was in.

Rest in peace--you will be missed.

Dear Lord, that's terrible! What an incredibly gifted actor, and he's gone at such a young age.
