The US Date for the Bones Season 4 DVD release is set: October 6, 2009.
Seems like there might not be any commentaries...
BOO! As AuntTerriP says, that's one of the best parts! If you could pick commentary pairings, who would you want to see? I personally loved the Emily/David commentary (who didn't?!) but also Hart/Barry. Any other cast-mates you'd love to hear dish about an episode?

Hart/Barry are good and informative, so I'd definitely take some more of those, but I would love, love, LOVE to see another David/Emily one! I was hoping they'd commentary "End in the Beginning" for this set. Oh well.
I'd love to hear any of the regular actors do a commentary, really, but David and Emily seem to be the most animated in interviews, so they would probably be the most entertaining. Oh, and if Zooey ever gets around to guest starring, she and Emily must do commentary for that episode! :)
I wonder why they're releasing the DVDs AFTER season 5 starts? :-( I just became a fan a few months ago and missed much of season 4, so I'm afraid I'll be out of the loop on some of the storylines.
Anyone else think this is weird? Most shows release the previous season on DVD a month or two prior to the new season premiere.
Yeah, it's unusual, but it's common for Bones. Season 3 came out in the middle of November. And I think the Season 2 release just beat the new season by about a week. I thought they were maybe going for the holiday sales with the November release, but I guess Bones just isn't a huge priority for the production company.
As for Season 4, if you don't mind watching out of order (which won't be a big deal for this past season, really,) you should be able to catch most of it before Season 5 starts. The first 4 episodes are on the Season 3 DVD, TNT and Fox are both airing Season 4 episodes at least once or twice a week, and Hulu and IMDB have the last 5, I believe. I think I've recorded 4 Season Four episodes this past week alone! So you should be able to see most of them :)

OMG! How can I survive? I thought the seasons on DVD come out before the seasons premieres :(
October 6th is the day after my birthday. Wouldn't it make a great birthday present??? :)
All of Season 4 episodes are for sale on Amazon. I think there about $1.50 or $2 per episode and you can download them to your tivo!
On a different note when did emily/david do a commentary?? What season and episode?!

Season 1 "Two Bodies in the Lab"
Okay, so I JUST noticed the the regular DVDs for season 4 are starting with the "Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond" episode and NOT the London ones. The first four episodes are only included in the Blu-Ray edition. I know that technically the first four episodes of season four were on the season 3 set, but this still seems stupid. Why would they include them on one edition but not the other? Plus, it's just weird to break up the season like this (and again, to only do it on one edition!)
