Omg what else to talk about then Bones, I just love this tv show and I love DB & ED , and this hiatus is killing me thank god for Bones on dvd :) I'm glad I found this site I check it everyday just to see if there are new still, promo's video's etc. available internet is a great source for people all over the world to get their information and to get connected with people with the same interest BONES (in my case), I watch a lot of tv shows but no other tv show has gotta hold on me as Bones does I've watched all the seasons probably 5 or 6 times and it never gets boring, I've seen the first episodes of season 5 already 6 times talking about obsessed :D

What other shows are you guys watching, and why?

We don't say it enough, so I'll use this anything goes invite to just say I, for one, can't thank you enough, Wendy, for all the work you do on this site and the fabulous positive energy you always promote for it!!!

Thank you! :)

NCIS - similar to Bones in feel, fun. But even more frustrating on character issues because they move everything at a snails pace and for many episodes nothing happens but the case.

NCISLA - because I haven't stopped recording it yet and I have hopes it will be as good as the original.

Dollhouse - I still hope...

House - House and Wilson

Glee - love the music!

The Simpsons, Chuck, Better off Ted, - laugh, laugh, laugh

Non-network shows...
Top Gear, Cake Boss (and most other cake decorating shows), 18 kids and counting, All in the Family Reruns, A-Team reruns, Stargate Atlantis(R)/SG-1(R)/Universe

I have a lot of TV time while working at home and feeding a baby... lol

I have a pretty hectic job so I can only squeeze in about 3 shows at any time and with my obsession with Bones that leaves even less room ;0). My other shows are:

Private Practice (getting better every week)
Castle (lead male character is pretty funny)
Biggest Loser (love Jillian and Bob!)
Greys Anatomy (if time permits)

Being from Hungary, I wouldn't be able to see American shows much if it wasn't for the net! Thank God for I can watch new Bones episodes the same time you do! I used to love Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice too, but Grey's getting to dark for me recently, it used to be a lot of fun, now everyone's dying or leaving, which reminds me of ER, it used to be a fun show then it all got very tragic, so I stopped watching it. What I like about a good series if it gives you some kind of relief, fun and excitement, but when it gets really heavy I just can't waste my energies on following it through.
I also like the CSI-types, I suppose most of the Bones fans come from there ;)

What I meant by not being able to watch American shows is that Bones was aired until the 3rd season on Hungarian TV, Grey's stopped somewhere in the middle of the 4th, which was extremely annoying, until I found good sites on the net... So now I don't even watch TV, just the net. LOL And this site is just great for all the Bones fans everywhere around the world! Thanks, Wendy.

the only shows i have the time to watch are Lie to Me on Mondays, Glee on Wednesdays, Bones on Thursdays, and the new Simpsons on Sundays.

This is historynut.
Hi everyone. This is a fun thread. Thanks, Wendy. For the whole site. The positive energy? Appreciated!

Bones is my obsession right now and I'm excited that this season has been so good. I don't have a TV so anything I watch is via the internet.

Glee is a new favorite. Has anyone seen Defying Gravity? It doesn't sound like it is going to get the time it needs to catch on, but it is great. You need to watch it from the beginning; it's Top notch writing and plot and character development.

Those are the only "real time" shows I watch. The rest of the time I hang with Angel and the rest of the Whedonverse stories. I didn't start Dollhouse -- on purpose!

I watch too much TV, and I have come to accept that :)

I am an avid X files fan, I love Chuck and SVU. I also watch 30rock, the office and Community when I have time.

Of course I am OBSESSED WITH BONES! :D

\I dont mean to change the subject but i just heard on XM 20 on 20 that DB is cheatting on his wife Jamie??? i dont know if there is any truth to this but i thought it would be something to talk about!

I watch a lot of different shows.
Aside from Bones I like Fringe, House, Supernatural, True Blood, Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, NCIS, The Mentalist. To name only the ones that are currently running.

A few of them like Bones of course or Supernatural, TrueBlood and Fringe I watch in their original US version. But most shows I do watch in their dubbed version on german TV, these are usually up to one season behind.

I'm a proud TV junkie, so this list is looooong, but other than Bones, my favorite show right now is the new show Eastwick on ABC. It's just this fun story about three women who live in this quirky little town and discover they have powers. It's based on the Witches of Eastwick, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Other shows I watch...most of have already been mentioned, but Castle (like Hart said on Twitter the other day, it's ABC's Bones,) Warehouse 13, The Mentalist, Grey's, Private Practice, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, House, Lie to Me, How I Met Your Mother, Cougar Town, Better Off Ted, Project Runway, Ellen's talk show, 30 Rock, and Saturday Night Live. I'm probably forgetting some. I really love television!

My Favorite two shows are Bones (of course) and Lost....so good!!

I also love The office, Lie to Me, Fringe, House, 24, Criminal minds, FlashForward and Parks and recreation.

Bones, Fringe and Mad Men (which is addictive).

I also like to watch Top Chef but only when I DVR it because I hate all the nonsensical drama between the contestants - I tune in when the dishes are being cooked, described and served.

Bones, Lie to me, House, Castle, NCIS and Warehouse 13.

But I'm obsessed only with Bones. And not a simple obsession. Nuts, crazy, totally..

I'm totally in love with the characters, actors, producer...

Thank you Wendy for this beautiful space.

It's really interesting to see what other shows Bones fans watch!

Bones is my number one. I look forward to it more than any other show, but I have quite a few that I keep up with: Chuck, Castle, NCIS, Lost, The Office, Parks and Recreation (this season is way better than last year), The Mentalist, Burn Notice, and Psych. And after seeing the pilot of White Collar the other night I think I am going to be adding that to my regular rotation as well.

Besides, Bones. I like the Dollhouse (hope it doesn't get cancelled), 30 Rock, The Office, Heroes, the CSI's, SVU & probably anything Travel Channel. I definitely make time to watch Bones on Thursdays or sometimes catch it on TNT (which is airing Bones every week night @ 7 p.m. here). But, thank goodness for Hulu for the rest.

Anyone know where the pics of Emily at the 2009 EMAs are? I figure they've got to go up today somewhere.

i dunno about you guys elsewhere, but my Season 4 DVDs have 7 discs and contains all 26 episodes.

I thought we weren't gettin the first 4....

[I live in the UK btw]

Stephanie said...

Yeah, apparently the rest of the world gets the entire season, but I live in the US, and my season 4 is 6 discs and starts at "Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond."

Actually, in the US, the Blu-Ray edition got all 26 episodes. I feel like they're trying to push Blu-ray on us over here by making Blu-ray releases of films and shows much more spectacular than the regular DVDs. I don't know why. Blu-Ray is more expensive, and I don't know a single person with a Blu-Ray player. The regular Bones DVD set just got 22 episodes. I know I have no reason to need those first four shows on two different sets, but I really wish they hadn't broken up the season like that.

Phillip said...

I thought Region 2 [Europe] was going to be the same as Region 1.

I know Aus/NZ [Region 4] didn't get any S4 episodes with S3 so are getting all 26.

It was a very pleasant surprise to find it was a 7disc box set.

I couldn't see the Blu-Ray set in Adsa [Supermarket chain owned by Wal-Mart] and Tesco were useless. They didn't even have the DVD. I was not amused. I had to convince a friend into driving me to Asda so could get it lol.

I have a PS3 which is Blu-Ray. So although a lot of people don't have Blu-Ray players there are a lot of PS3's out there which are all Blu-Ray players as standard.

Jeannie said...

I received my season 3 box set the other day and it didn't include the first 4 episodes of season 4. That's Germany, so I guess it's different for different countries.
