TVGuide Spoils: Future Case Story

TVGuide talks to Stephen Nathan about a future case, in a Bones episode airing in January. the information is only slightly more specific than episode titles, for those who don't like spoilers.

What do you think of story lines like this?

Thanks, Erin.

Eh, I think a more distant figure would have been more interesting. Where's the love for Garfield or McKinley?

I'm also wary of having an outsider write for Bones, I worry the characters will be off.

If I understand the writer's guild rules - they have to do that. Every season a certain number of episodes must be freelance.

I completely agree with you about doing them instead of Kennedy. Kennedy and his death, named or not, have been done far too many times.

I liked the way Quantum Leap handled JFK (am I dating myself here?).

There are other "ripped from the headlines" storylines that would do really well for the Bones treatment, I don't know if I'd like to see JFK done this way.

The Lincoln storyline would be good, too.
