Extreme Spoiler Chat: The Girl in the Mask

New sides are out! Here is place to concentrate all the heavy spoiler talk (ie the major stuff from the sides, that most fans do NOT read) for The Girl in the Mask. Feel free to post links in the comments, but I will keep the post free of them.

The point of this post is to keep the really heavy spoilers away from those who don't want to read them, not increase the spoiler focus here. Have fun!

Richard Keller of TVSquad: The Thursday night Bones move was baaaaaad

Thanks, Laura, for pointing out this link.

Richard Keller at TVSquad has written a piece on why he dislikes the Thursday night time slot for Bones. Since I don't DVR Bones for any reason other than to make sure I can re-watch it as much as I want, I don't have much to say about that.

What do you think about his reasons for disliking it?

From there, he quickly moves into a shift he would like to see: splitting scripted network shows into 2 seasons, a la Monk and Pysch. I actually prefer the current format much more - those short season feel like you've just really gotten into the show and now it's going off the air for months. And you go through that twice a year.

Would you prefer a shift to two separate short seasons each year, or do you like the current Fall through Spring format?

Fox's Supercharged March: Bones schedule update

Fox has put out a press release for it's March schedule. It gives us some brief descriptions and the episode air dates for 3 upcoming Bones episodes:

March 12th - "The Bones that Foam"
March 19th - "The Salt in the Wounds"
March 26th - "The Doctor in the Den"
Thankfully, it appears they are airing in production order. Hooray!

Stop reading there if you don't want any spoilers!
(better avoid the comments too)

For those who want to know, here are the brief episode descriptions for each:

Thursday, March 12

BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) "The Bones That Foam"

In an episode directed by BONES star David Boreanaz, bungee-jumping newlyweds plunge off a bridge on their wedding day only to come face-to-face with a corpse lying at the bottom of the gorge. After ruling out suicide, Brennan (Emily Deschanel), Booth (Boreanaz) and the Jeffersonian team try to determine the cause of death. When they notice an unknown substance oozing from the body, the lab is thrown into immediate lockdown, and they realize they have only 24 hours to unravel the mystery before the bones disintegrate.

Thursday, March 19

BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) "The Salt in the Wounds"

Booth and Brennan investigate a petrified human body found buried in a mound of salt in a city de-icing truck. They discover that the victim was a pregnant 16-year-old high school volleyball player, and are shocked to find that nearly half of her teammates are either pregnant or already have babies as part of a "pregnancy pact."

Thursday, March 26

BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) "The Doctor in the Den"

The half-eaten body of Cam's (Tamara Taylor) former fiance is found in the tiger cage at the zoo, and Booth and Brennan determine the death was no accident. The team pieces together the fiance's final evening and questions suspects, including Brandon Casey (guest star Chad Lowe) whom Sweets (John Francis Daley) and Angela (Michaela Conlin) hypnotize to help jog his memory.
