Awe, he called it "their song" even though he was blown up immediately afterwards. ;-) And I have a feeling the tie around the head was some improv on DB's part.

Haha, probably! I loved the "our song" comment, too. TV Guide said Emily had 3 weeks of guitar lessons for the performance scene in this episode. I took guitar lessons for a *year* and could barely play anything, so I'm majorly impressed with Emily, and I haven't even seen this yet.

I'm loving the return of Hot Blooded!! :D

it's really cute, but then again why did they have to do a rock episode? it feels like they're taking orders from fox, like they did for stewie and avatar.

I can't wait for this episode, knowing there are only a few episodes left til the season ender makes them all a little sweeter. Booth rockin is priceless

Well...they are taking orders from Fox. But that's how Bones stays on the air (or gets a little extra money to work with, in the case of the Avatar thing.) Hart may run the show, but Fox is the network that keeps the show alive, so if they ask for a specific episode theme, it's probably best to just do it.

Honestly, I just got tired. I’m not watching any more episodes (or Reading about Bones) until the end of the season. Then, I can watch what’s left in one sitting and get over with it. I do not care if they end up together or not, just as long as it is realistic. But no. They are making Twilight for grown ups. This stupid adolescent drama of “they love each other but can’t be together… But they love each other… But… “…Please.

I do not think that the return of Hot Blooded is romantic. I hate it! It was such a special moment between the two of them, an intimate moment (in one of my favorite episodes)… And now, for what I can see in this trailer, it’s just a public joke. If they were going to bring Hot Blooded back they should have done it the right way, with them ALONE again. Not in a stage and with them singing awfully. Goofy stuff.

Wendy, I wanted to say that I’ve read your blog for a long time, and I love it, and I think you’re doing a great job. I never comment, but always read. Thank you for everything 

I’m going to miss you all, but really, the show is driving me nuts.

Even though the singing seemed TERRIBLE =) it was fun for them to bring up Hot Blooded again. It's nice when they remember the small details as much as we do as fans.

We'll miss you Carla! Come back again when you catch up on the show.

I was so pleased by the Toad the Wet Sprocket shout-out. Does that make me old?

I do not like this whole 'Fox rocks' thing. I hate it when Fox interferes in shows (e.g.Dollhouse - Grr!).

I like that he called it 'our song' but I'll decide whether I liked them including it when I watch the episode. I haven't thought about that scene in ages, it is one of my favourite B/B moments! God, that singing sounds awful but I suppose it'll be a laugh!

At the moment I do not appreciate the goofiness of this episode and I hope we receive an explanation as to why Brennan can play the guitar. It seems very un-Brennanish.

Wow, I'm surprised to see all the Debbie Downer like, comments. I think the episode looks awesome. Definitely looking forward to it. My heart cannot take anymore of this angst...bring on the happy times!! "This is OUR song"... Weeeee!!! :)

I can totally understand why Hanson and TPTB are doing Bones this way. Teasing the audience is a very successful formula.

However, I can also completely understand why some fans are saying they are not going to watch for now - they feel so invested in this pair and they are frustrated and dying for some real action between these two which has been anticipated for so long now.

Loads of folks were down on Predator in the Pool before it aired and it turned out just fine.

I think this episode looks a little lame myself from the promo but I am sure it will also turn out fine (they never show the really good stuff in the promos).

All of this really does give me confidence that we will have some progress by the end of the season. Diehard fans are not going to keep being patient forever, especially now that the "truth is out there" (to nick from another shipper heaven/hell show).

I think there might just be a boycott if Bones doesn't come to her senses by the end of the season. Surely Angela or someone else will drum some sense into her by then.. Here's hoping...!

For me, I really don't know how you could resist him of the twinkly eyes and lovely smile. She is crazy - Hacker - I mean really..!!

I always after season 3 had this feeling that these two are better off as friends than lovers. Love makes them boring and one dimensional. We lost all the teasing from Booth and all the pushing buttons from Brennan.

Now they are in love and admiring one another!?!! Please...
