"Getting together TOO SOON!!???" Did I read that right? Six (make that seven) years! You've got to be kidding me. There are SO many interesting story lines that could develop from them as a couple. Bring it on ASAP!!! It would not "kill the show" but just the opposite--bring it new life and endless possibilities.
at first i hated the will they wont they thing because it seemed to me that for a while, it was really super intensely dangled in front of our noses with intense flirting, constant references to it, a psychologist researching their relationship, TALKING with them about it... sometimes it even felt like we were getting beaten over the head with it, with no payoff.
NOW I think, the show has had to admit the will/wont thing is the #1 draw to the show for media and many fans so they HAVE to play it smart. I like giving Booth a girlfriend, giving Brennan hesitancy and time to come around to the idea of true love. it makes sense for their characters, and that matters most to me.
the thing about mulder and scully, too, was that despite the tension there was never any discussion or couple-ness about them pushed into our faces. it was kept an enigma. only when scully was holding a baby and talking with mulder about how it was his were we told that they had, in fact, been together, for god knows how long. maybe this whole time!? it was the total opposite approach. And seeing as how Bones has taken the opposite approach (totally playing up the relationship) maybe its not best to drag it out FOREVER.
I would like to see Booth and Brennan get together long enough before the series finale that we get to see them as a couple, but at the same time, I don't think I want more than a season or so of them together because that gives the writers time to mess with them. I'd rather see Booth and Brennan get together and stay that way through the end of the show than have them go through the break-up/make-up thing that so many shows are fond of.
So I guess I somewhat agree with the original comment. It's a must, but if they're really looking at doing 8 seasons, then yeah, hold off a little bit longer. I don't think it would kill the show, but I don't want the writers to have a ton of time to mess with them too much after they're together. I hope that made sense.

I Watch Bones Online. Its so amazing show. Its storyline is extremely wonderful. And of course the characters of this show are mind blowing. And the image in this post is great.
