Wich brings me to this DB-ED situation... I personally, don't think it's true. Of course, it's not like if it is, it would affect their AWESOME acting job. But all the cast had previously talked about how GOOD they ALL get along off-cameras. Still, even when we can't know anything for sure..We do have Hart himself tellin' us that it is false that they don't like each other... I mean, look at the bloopers or gag reels of the show!.. They seem to get along just fine.

This is totally ridiculous. They said the same thing about David and Gillian from the X-Files and they did get along, not as well and David and Emily but they had a good relationship.

I don't even know how the rumor started since I have never heard this before.

They've been working together for almost 5 years now and all of a sudden they hate each other? I don't think two mature people like them would do that.

@Nikki - Yeah, Lauren & Scott never really admitted it, and they always said they had a "comfortable" or "civil" working relationship in interviews, but a few producers said they had very different personalities and very different approaches to acting, which led to several conflicts. Bummer, right? Of course, that may all have been a rumor, too, but since it was more than just 3 or 4 people saying it (like it is with David & Emily) and some set people mentioned some personality clashes, I tend to believe there was at least a little bit of truth to that one.

I agree that disagreements are bound to happen, but I personally like knowing that the actors on my favorite shows get along. Like, when I found out that Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson from Gilmore Girls didn't like each other, that kinda shattered the Luke & Lorelai illusion a little bit. It's stupid and ridiculous, I know, but I like knowing that my favorite cast members like each other in real life. Plus, actors that get along make for fun interviews (as evidenced by David and Emily, of course!)

They have a sizzling chemistry onscreen. HOW they manage to achieve that chemistry is irrelevant. I don't really care how close they are in real life, what's important is that they produce good work and are civil to each other in the process.

My guess is that DB was seeming tired and exhausted because he was worried about their baby - remember that he said he could not be far from home in case something happened - it seems to have taken some toll on him as he does look to me anyway that he lost quite a bit of weight this season. But, the baby is now here, safe and healthy and he is likely going to be more relaxed.

Not sure why people spend even a moment wondering about these people's private lives at all - we don't them and will never know them so it is all speculation - just as I did a bit above about why he may have lost weight. Except he himself had said he was stressed about the baby.

I read this on twitter last night and I think that it's usual the jealous people who start these kind of rumours I don't believe them if you look at all these interviews they did together they are getting along perfectly no way you can fake that chemistry that's just the problem with all this media today there are just to many rumours about everyone and lot's of people tend to believe it :(

People need to chill and understand that they have lives outside of work and aren't joined at the hip. They are friends, that's it. Friends have up and down days as anyone who has friends at work, experience on a daily basis. They are not obligated to do interviews together ALL the time. If they don't do interviews together, it means nothinh=g. It's what we see on-screen with the show, that's important. DB has a new baby so, he's busy with his life with his family. Emily has a busy life with a lot of charity work. They really need to stop asking HH questions for no reason.

I agree it's just a rumor and sometimes, I tend to think it's 100% true, but I can't deny at least a part of it is.

If you compare them now with who they were three years ago, it's a lot less spontaneous and casual as back then. I have also seen many interviews in which David seemed tired and exhausted.. Which I don't like, I missed the old one!

My suggestion is that he'll take a real vacation, next time. No interviews, just a real, relaxing vacation. That's what vacation is for.
